Hello & Bonjour FEO Eagle Families,
Teachers and staff are prepared for a very exciting week ahead! We have been busy getting FEO ready to welcome back all of our students for the 2026/2027 school year.
We will begin Monday with students attending their homeroom (Eagle Time) to get all of their necessary information, including paper copies of their timetable, for a successful year. I recognize that there is a wide variety of emotions that students experience coming back to school. Eagle Time will support students in becoming familiar with their classes, timetables and classmates. At this time, due to our enrolment numbers, homeroom and class changes are not possible. I appreciate your understanding and support. In the coming days, complementary course change requests will be available but changes to homeroom, PE and core classes will not be made.
I would like to highlight two important upcoming events at FEO that occur on the same evening! On September 9th, FEO will be hosting "Meet the Teacher" night followed by the first meeting of our School Council. I invite you to attend both events!
This is going to be an incredible year at FEO and I am incredibly excited to keep you apprised of all the happenings! Have a wonderful last weekend of the summer break!

Monday | First Day of School
School begins at 8:10 AM and concludes at our regular time of 2:40 PM. Grade 6 & 7 students will proceed to the Eagle Dome (Gymnasium) to receive their timetables. Grade 8 & 9 students will proceed to their homeroom classes. Homeroom lists will be posted inside the school.
Students will then spend the first two blocks of the day in their homeroom (Eagle Time) classes. Following Eagle time, students will run through their timetable to meet of all their teachers.

We’re excited to welcome families to FEO for our upcoming Meet the Teacher evening! This is a wonderful chance to follow your child’s timetable, meet their teachers, and connect with our school administration. We’ll be sharing more details soon! Please stay tuned!
FEO School Council | September 9 @ 7:30
One of the most important ways parents/guardians and community members can make a meaningful difference for students is by participating on the school council. Under the Education Act, a school council is a collective association designed to advise the principal and the CBE Board of Trustees on matters related to the school. School councils have legislated advisory and decision-making authority defined within the Education Act and the School Councils Regulation.
Our first school council meeting of the year will immediately follow our "Meet the Teacher" night. The council meeting will be held in-person at FEO!
eScooters | Safe Storage
We’re thrilled to see so many of our students commuting to school on bicycles and scooters—including electric ones! It’s a great way to stay active and environmentally conscious.
However, we’d like to remind families that we do not have indoor storage space available for bikes or scooters. Students will need to use the designated bike racks located outside the school. To help keep their belongings safe, please ensure that all bikes and scooters are secured with a sturdy lock.
