IMPORTANT | Sage Hill Bussing Announcement

Dear Sage Hill Families,

Earlier this week you should have received an email from CBE Transportation about the Express Route from the Sage Hill community continuing to service F. E. Osborne School for the 2026-27 school year. We wanted to provide you with some additional information to clarify your designation options for next school year.

In November 2025, families received the School Designation Changes for Sage Hill & Kincora. At that time it was announced that starting with the 2026-27 school year, students in Grades 6 to 9 living in Sage Hill or Kincora will be designated to Simon Fraser School. 

Families of current Grade 7 and 8 students attending F. E. Osborne were asked to inform the school of their decision about which school their child would attend in March. Given the new information about the Express Route, your family may consider making a different choice.

Transportation Options for Sage Hill Students

• Students from Sage Hill community attending F.E. Osborne School will use Calgary Transit School Express route 795 for the 2026-27 school year. This route will not continue in the 2027-28 school year and students will use regular Calgary Transit routes to travel to F.E. Osborne School.
• Students from Sage Hill community attending Simon Fraser School will have yellow school bus service as Calgary Transit do not have the resources to add buses at this time.

If you choose to make a different decision about the school your child will be attending next year, please contact FEO (feosborne@cbe.ab.ca) before Tuesday, May 12. Unless we hear from you by this deadline, we will continue with the designation option we have on file.
