Hello FEO Eagle Families,
As we welcome students back into our classrooms, I want to take a moment to acknowledge what a challenging time it has been for everyone—families, students, and staff alike. The journey back to school has not been without its difficulties, and we recognize the emotional and logistical toll this period has taken on our community.
Despite these challenges, our teachers are genuinely excited to be back. Their commitment to your children’s learning and well-being remains unwavering, and they are eager to reconnect, rebuild routines, and create joyful, engaging learning environments once again.
We deeply appreciate your continued support and understanding as we navigate this transition together. Our shared goal is to ensure that every student feels welcomed, supported, and inspired as they return to school. I will receive an update from CBE on October 30th regarding pertinent information such as atheltics and extra-curricular which I will pass along to families in my FEO Week Ahead message on Friday. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to reach out or refer to the CBE Labour Action Page.
As the leaves turn and the air grows crisp, we’re thrilled to welcome the spooky season and all the joy that Halloween brings to our school community!
Halloween is a wonderful time for creativity, imagination, and togetherness. It’s a chance to build memories, share laughter, and celebrate the spirit of fun. Please see below for costume guidelines.
Thank you for helping us make this season magical for our students. Wishing you all a safe, happy, and delightfully spooky Halloween!
Warm regards,
Dr. Michael Cutler
Principal
HALLOWEEN COSTUMES
Halloween is a fun and exciting time that students of all ages eagerly anticipate throughout the year. At F.E.O., we share in that excitement and look forward to celebrating together. As we do so, we remain committed to fostering a safe, caring, and inclusive environment for everyone.
Students who choose to wear costumes are reminded that costumes must not include weapons or masks, and should not appropriate cultures, religions, or races. All costumes must reflect respect for diversity and uphold our shared values of inclusion and kindness.
FUN LUNCH
The next Fun Lunch is on November 5. The deadline to order is Oct 31 at midnight.
Please go to www.healthyhunger.ca to order lunch. Remember to select your student's current homeroom.

TERRY FOX RUN
We are thrilled to share that our school raised an incredible $702.92 through our "Toonies for Terry" campaign in support of the Terry Fox Run! 🏃♂️🍁
Your generosity and spirit truly embody Terry’s legacy of courage, determination, and hope. Every toonie brought us closer to making a difference in the fight against cancer. Thank you for your amazing support and for helping our students learn the power of community and compassion.
Way to go, FEO!
