Hello FEO Eagle Families,
We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the incredible cast and crew of “Yearbook Reflections.” This was truly a fantastic production—both heartwarming and full of humor—and a wonderful showcase of student talent and creativity. We are deeply appreciative of the extraordinary time, passion, and dedication demonstrated by Ms. Sangster, Ms. Sutherland, Mr. Cavalleri, and Ms. Langman in bringing this production to life. Their commitment created a memorable experience for our entire school community.
We are also proud to share that Ms. Therrien is leading the CBE Middle School Honour Band. This prestigious event will be attended by Chief Superintendent Jo Pitman, along with Dr. Mike Nelson, Superintendent of School Improvement. We are extremely proud of Ms. Therrien and the talented young musicians from across the CBE who are participating in this exciting opportunity.
As a reminder, F.E. Osborne School will be closed on Friday, May 15 for Teacher Professional Development. The school will also be closed on Monday, May 18 in observance of the Victoria Day holiday. Classes will resume on Tuesday, May 19.
We are still seeking parent volunteers to help support our upcoming FEO Track Meet (please see additional information below). Your support helps make these events successful and meaningful for our students.
Wishing all of our FEO families a safe and enjoyable long weekend. We hope to see you at the final performance of "Yearbook Reflections" tonight at FEO as well as the Honour Band performance!
Warm regards,
Dr. Michael Cutler

GRADE 9 FAREWELL | June 9th @ Heritage Park
As the school year draws to a close, we are excited to announce this year’s second annual Grade 9 Farewell at Heritage Park! This event will provide a wonderful opportunity for students to reflect on their time in junior high, enjoy time with classmates, and create lasting memories as they prepare to transition to high school.
*Please note that because we did not have more volunteers to organize fundraisers this year, we were unable to offset expenses more to keep the ticket price lower*
Please find the event details below:

Suggested Dress
Business casual or smart casual attire is recommended. There will be quite a bit of walking, so please ensure students wear comfortable shoes. Since the evening can get chilly, we suggest bringing a sweater or jacket and dressing for the weather.
Cost & RSVP
The cost per student is $65.00. Thanks to the generosity of the Parent Council, this event has been subsidized, allowing us to offer this reduced price for each student. We are encouraging every Grade 9 student to attend, and if you require financial support in order for your child to participate, please email the Farewell Committee (feograde9farewell@gmail.com), and we will ensure that your student can attend.
To RSVP and make payment, please click on or scan the QR code below or click on this link: https://www.zeffy.com/en-CA/ticketing/feo-grade-9-farewell. Once you submit your RSVP, your student will be added to the list and will only need to check in with a volunteer at the park upon arrival.
Please RSVP and make payment as soon as possible, as we need to submit final numbers to the venue. Tickets must be purchased no later than the end of day on May 22nd. Your timely response is greatly appreciated.
Please reach out to Dr. Michael Cutler if there is a financial barrier to your student attending the Grade 9 Farewell.
Volunteers
Thank you to everyone who shared their name and email to express interest in volunteering. We will send out an email in the next few days about the volunteers. We had more people express interest than needed. We will only need between 20-25 on the day of the event.
Behavior Expectations
We ask that you please take a moment to talk to your child about the importance of behaving appropriately and respectfully during the event. This is a special evening for them to celebrate their accomplishments, and we expect them to represent themselves, their school, and their families with pride. Additionally, please remind your child to be respectful to parent volunteers and teachers who are generously giving up their evening to make this event possible.
If you are available to volunteer for this event, have any questions, need financial support, or require a special meal due to allergies, please email the Farewell Committee at feograde9farewell@gmail.com.
We look forward to celebrating this milestone with our Grade 9 students and making this event a memorable one for them!
Warm regards,
