Hello FEO Eagle Families,

As we enter our final week before Spring Break, we also mark an important transition within our school. This week is the last for our incredible Administrative Secretary, Ms. Vivianne Carroll, as she begins her well‑deserved retirement. Ms. Carroll has been a pillar of kindness, professionalism, and support at F.E. Osborne for many years, and her presence will be deeply missed. We also extend our warm farewell to Asti, her PAALS service dog, who will be retiring alongside her. We are sincerely grateful to Ms. Carroll for her many years of dedication to public education and to the FEO community.

At the same time, we are pleased to welcome Ms. Ginny Wong, who will be stepping into the Administrative Secretary role. Congratulations, Ms. Wong—we are thrilled to have you join the team!

I also want to congratulate all of our volleyballs teams for a great season! I also want to highlight our Senior Boys Team who made it all the way to the City Championship game. In a very close, hard fought battle, the Senior Boys placed second. Congratulations to all of our teams and thank you for representing FEO so well.

This week will be a busy and exciting one for our students as well. Several Grade 9 classes will be heading to the Calgary Zoo for their science field trip, and our Grade 7 Concert Band will be performing at the Strathmore Music Festival. We wish all students and staff wonderful learning experiences.

A friendly reminder that there is no school for students this Friday, as staff will be engaged in Professional Development.

Our FEO School Council is also running the Purdys Chocolate Fundraiser, just in time for Easter. Please see the information below for details on how to place your order.

Thank you for your continued support, and here’s to an energetic final week before we head into Spring Break!
