Hello FEO Eagle Families,
I hope this message finds you well! As I reflect on this past week, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible energy and dedication I've witnessed throughout our school community.
Our teachers have been working tirelessly to create engaging learning experiences for our students, and the enthusiasm in our classrooms has been truly inspiring. The positive momentum we've built together continues to grow, and I couldn't be more proud of what our students and staff are accomplishing each day.
Looking Ahead to Next Week:
Our teachers are eagerly preparing to welcome you to parent-teacher conferences next week! Whether you're joining us in person or connecting virtually, we're excited to share your child's progress and celebrate their achievements with you. These conferences are such a valuable opportunity for us to partner together in supporting your child's growth and success.
The week will begin with an exciting opportunity for our Grade 9 students, who will be visiting the Astrodome at FEO.
A Warm Welcome:
I'm also thrilled to announce that we are welcoming Mr. Jay Rielly to the FEO team! Mr. Rielly will be taking over for Ms. Amyotte, who is beginning her maternity leave. We wish Ms. Amyotte all the best as she embarks on this beautiful new chapter, and we're confident that Mr. Rielly will be a wonderful addition to our school community.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Together, we're making FEO an exceptional place for our students to learn and grow.
Warm regards,
Michael Cutler | Principal
F.E. Osborne School

School conferences provide an important opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about your child’s learning. Parents/guardians, students, and teachers are able to connect and communicate openly about areas of strength and growth. These discussions help build and sustain respectful relationships that support student success. Prior to your conference, please take time with your child to review PowerSchool for updated grades and Google Classroom for course content and topics, ensuring a focused and informed discussion. If possible, please include your child in the conference as their voice is vital to understanding the next steps in their learning.
After booking, your conference details will appear in your MyCBE account. We recommend adding these to your email calendar to keep track of meeting times and links (if applicable).
Given the recent teacher strike and its impact on assessment timelines, teachers are continuing to update and analyze student data. While they will share available evidence of learning, we ask that families keep in mind that assessment information may still be in progress at this time. The focus of conferences will be on reconnecting, understanding current progress, and planning meaningful next steps to support each student’s continued growth.
We look forward to seeing you and your child at conferences and continuing our shared work in supporting their success.

ASTRODOME AT FEO | Grade 9
Next week, Grade 9 students will have an incredible opportunity when the Astrodome arrives at FEO! An astrodome is a portable, inflatable planetarium that creates an immersive dome theatre right inside FEO! Once you step inside this darkened, dome-shaped structure, you'll be surrounded by a spectacular 360-degree projection of the night sky, constellations, planets, and even journeys through our solar system and beyond. It's like having your own personal observatory where you can explore the cosmos, learn about celestial navigation, and witness the breathtaking beauty of space—all without leaving the school
