Dear FEO Eagle Families,

Our sailors are back from sailing the Salish Sea! This is always an amazing trip for students and I am grateful to Mr. Koch, Dr. Johal and Mr. Baez for supporting our students on this adventure!

The Calgary Board of Education strives to ensure that all schools are safe and caring places for students and staff. As a public school system, we welcome students from diverse backgrounds, perspectives and beliefs.

At F.E. Osborne School, we have honoured and recognized our school community throughout the school year with events such as Orange Shirt Day, Asian Heritage month and Black History month.

June is Pride Month Internationally, a time to recognize the pursuit of equality and rights for 2SLGBTQ+ individuals. The CBE is committed to safe and caring learning and work environments for 2SLGBTQ+ students and staff.

We acknowledge that each family and community have unique experiences with different recognitions and celebrations, and any commemorative activities in our schools may be perceived differently. Classroom-based  activities and lessons that promote diversity and inclusion are not subject to exemptions as they are in alignment with the Education Act.

As always, for the most up-to-date information regarding the happenings at FEO, please visit our FEO School Calendar

Sincerely,
Dr. Michael Cutler

Track & Field | June 3, 2025

Track and Field Day is Tuesday, June 3rd at 9:00 am. All athletes are asked to arrive at Foothills Athletic Park (2431 Crowchild Trail NW) between 8:40 and 8:45 am.

We are planning to have our white tent set up, please sign in with a teacher there and check when your event is.   This will be our schools’ area for the day.

If there is bad weather that morning the event will be cancelled by 7:00 am.

If your child is NOT on the Track and Field team, it is a regular day at F.E. Osborne School and they ARE NOT to attend Foothills Athletic Park. Any students that do show up unexpectedly will have families called to come pick their child up.
