Hello FEO Eagle Families,
The hallways are bustling at FEO! The bands are preparing for the band camps and Disney trips, the drama department is nearing their Cap'n Frank performance, Badminton is underway, Model U.N. is coming at the end of the month and eSports is hopping! I am also excited to annouce that our student council is working towards a transformation of the FEO courtyard into a teaching space. The old shed has been dismantled and removed and plans are in the works for the construction students to build garden boxes! I am very excited to see the progress and look forward to provigind more updates!
This past School Council meeting I had the opportunity to share the results of the Grade 9 Farewell survey and collaborate with School Council on several ideas. We feel that family voice is incredibly important and we are going to have a special meeting on April 22nd to continue the discussion. I invite you to attend and share your voice in celebrating our grade 9s!
This coming weekend is Easter weekend and there is no school for students on Good Friday or Easter Monday. To our students and families observing this occasion, I wish you a Happy Easter filled with love and peace.
Classes resume for students on April 22nd.
As always, please continue to check the FEO Calendar for the most up-to-date happenings of the school!

Disney Band Tour | Parent Meeting April 28 @ 6:30
With the ever changing landscape in the United States we require one last parent meeting prior to leaving for our Disney band trip. We recognize this is last minute, and apologize for the inconvenience, but we have received important updates that must be shared prior to our departure.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 28, at 6:30pm in the FEO Learning Commons.
At this meeting we will be joined by Education Director for Offsite Garry Tink, Director for Risk, Safety, and Security Chris White, and Area 1 Education Director Aubrey Fletcher. They will review the new information and answer questions you may have.
We require new Acknowledgment of Risk forms to be signed as these will outline current risks/precautions regarding increased security measures at the US border. These new forms will be available at the parent meeting and will need to be returned that evening, or by Thursday April 24th at the latest or your student will not be able to attend the trip. We will also provide an information sheet outlining key changes that can kept for your records.
