Hello Eagle Families,

The past Tuesday evening the FEO School Council hosted the Grade 9 Farewell at Heritage Park. It was a wonderful evening to celebrate the achievements of our students and have a wonderful close to their chapter at FEO. Our grade 9s will go on to do incredible things in high school and I am confident that their time at FEO has prepared them to achieve these things. I want to congratulate the Grade 9 Class of 2025 on their achievement and wish them success on their next chapter. I would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you Tatiana Dunfield and the FEO School Council for organizing this incredible farewell.

We are entering our last full week of school, let's finish strong and continue to celebrate how great our students are! Have a wonderful weekend.

-Dr. Michael Cutler | Principal

Provincial Achievement Tests | PATs

PATs will continue next week for our students who will be writing their French Language Arts and Mathematics tests. Good luck students!

During and after Provincial Achievement Tests, regular classes will be happening. While learning may look different during these times with alternate activities to prepare students for their next exam and support their mental well-being, classes do continue!

PE Reminder

As the weather warms up, we kindly remind you to ensure your child brings a refillable water bottle and applies sunscreen before school or before PE class. Staying hydrated and protected from the sun helps students stay safe and enjoy their activities to the fullest!

CBE 2025-2026 Calendar

As FEO families plan their lives, including travel, we request consideration of the published CBE calendar of non-instructional days:

2025-2026 CBE Instructional Calendar

Note that the first day of school is on Tues. Sept. 2, 2025 (after the August long weekend). Similar to this school year, a Fall Break has been set in November, in addition to the customary Winter and Spring breaks. Maintaining regular school attendance, and planning travel during scheduled breaks, is vital to success in learning and social development. if you know your current grade 7/8 student will not be returning to FEO next year, please email FEOsborne@cbe.ab.ca and let us know as soon as possible
