Hello FEO Eagle Families!

As we enter the colder, snowier part of the season, I would like to remind families to ensure that students are dressing appropriately for the weather. I understand teenagers would like everyone to believe that they don’t own a jacket or will be seen wearing one but with the plummeting temperatures and possible city transit delays, please check the forecast and dress appropriately!

We have also been reminding students about safety outside during this weather, and more specifically snowballs. Our message is “snow stays on the ground!”

I wanted to extend a big thank you to the FEO School council for supporting our amazing teachers during the upcoming Parent-Teacher conferences by providing food on the Thursday evening.

Please watch your inboxes as we start to move along with several trips. The parent meeting for the Grade 9 Sailing Trip is November 26th at 6:30. Thank you to Mr. Koch who is heading up that trip again.  The Disneyland Tour planning is moving along nicely and the 2nd instalment has been posted on mycbe for students attending.

Parent Teacher Conferences | Nov. 28-29, 2024

We are very excited to welcome families into the school on November 28th and virtually on November 29th. Conference booking closed on Friday November 22, however, you can still reach out to teachers if you would like to make an alternative time to discuss your students academics.

FEO Farmers Market & Fine Arts Gala | December 11-12, 2024

The Farmers Market will take place on the evenings of the Gala—Wednesday, Dec. 11th, and Thursday, Dec. 12th—starting at 6:00 PM. The market is a cash-only event, with proceeds supporting Education Matters.

Students have created a variety of items for sale, including:

  • Candles, lip balms, body butters, oil cleansers, body scrubs, bath bombs, perfumes, and lip glosses
  • Wood products, Christmas decorations, and handcrafted designs from the Design Studies students

It’s going to be an epic showcase of their creativity!

The play will begin at 7:00 PM, featuring a talent act followed by our one-act production, Welcome to Candy Kingdom. This heartfelt play explores the journey of finding a place to call home.

To support the Farmers Market, we plan to extend the intermission slightly. Since this is our first year combining the Gala with the market, we’re excited to see how it all comes together!

Tickets:

  • $10 for adults
  • $5 for students
  • Free for children 5 and under

Tickets will be available at the door and for purchase in the drama room during the week of the play. We can’t wait to see everyone there!
